Our Story
The Electronics Design & Testing Centre (EDTC) was established as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, with support from the Government of Uttar Pradesh and technical expertise from C-DAC.
Located in Sector 62, Noida, EDTC is built to bridge a critical gap in India's electronics ecosystem — affordable, accessible product testing and design support for MSMEs, startups, and OEMs.
Today, EDTC is operated by the India Cellular & Electronics Association (ICEA), bringing deep industry expertise and connections to a government-backed infrastructure. This unique public-private model ensures that EDTC stays grounded in real industry needs while maintaining the credibility and support of government institutions.

To accelerate India's electronics manufacturing capabilities by providing world-class design, testing, and prototyping services that are accessible and affordable for businesses of all sizes.
Our Facility
EDTC's labs span multiple specialised areas, all housed in a purpose-built centre at B-30, Sector 62, Noida.
Pre-Compliance & EMI/EMC Testing Lab
Electrical Testing, Analog & Digital Signal Analysis, EMI/EMC Testing, ESD Testing, Wireless Power Transmission, Surge & Safety Standard Testing, RF Analysis, Audio Analysis.
Product Design & Development Lab
M-CAD Design, E-CAD Design, and complete end-to-end product prototyping.
PCB Fabrication & Assembly Lab
PCB Prototyping, PCB Assembly, PCB Stencil Making. Reflow oven, SMT pick-and-place, and soldering stations for rapid turnaround.
3D Printing Lab
Stratasys J55 polyjet printer for multi-material, full-colour prototyping.
Reliability Testing Area
Drop Test, Vibration Test, Shock Test, Salt Spray Test, Thermal Shock Test, Thermal Test. Environmental chambers and equipment for durability validation.
